Regular Chains

Let's first learn how to set up Chains, and the common ways that Chains are set up. First off, raise the stack about 3/4 of the screen up. Now find 3 pieces that can be easily matched vertically. Leave them ready to match, but don't do it! Instead, look at the piece above it, and remember the color. Now place 2 pieces of that color directly below the ones you will match.  Try to set up the pieces similarly to what you see below. 

Here is what happens step by step once you match the pieces.

Congratulations!  You've just done a 2-Hit Chain!!


Now try it again, only instead of matching the set, look at the piece ABOVE the piece that will fall. Now find two more pieces near the bottom piece that match the color.  Try to do a setup like the one you see below.

Congratulations!!  Now you've done a 3-Hit Chain!!


What you can do with this method is train yourself to set up chains. You will eventually grow faster and faster until setting up 4's and 5's are a piece of cake!
